I loved the Novotel on the lake and the Distinction Fox Glacier was so beautiful. Much preferred that town to Franz Josef.
Many thanks again.
I cannot thank you enough for everything that you did to make it so enjoyable. All the arrangements were perfect.
Taxis, vehicles, etc were there when you said they would be. Everyone knew I was coming. It was brilliant.
My kindest regards to you.”
Everyone was prompt. Our bus drivers were all excellent and professional and always gave us information about the area. We loved the stops for tea in the morning and afternoon. I even tried salmon from a salmon farm. It was spectacular.
Our accommodations were very comfortable and centrally located in the city we were visiting. We have recommended your company to our travel agent. We have had an absolutely wonderful time.
New Zealand is spectacular, Milford Sound and the TranzAlpin Train were definite highlights. However the whole trip was delightful. Very hard to leave New Zealand.
Please let me know if you need any kind of recommendation – truly unbelievable.”
I loved sitting on the coach and being higher up than if I was in a car and being able to see so much more than if I was driving myself.
The coaches were clean, comfortable and kept at a pleasant temperature. The commentaries on all the coaches on which I travelled were without exception, excellent. Each driver had his own inimitable style, each was very knowledgeable and thoughtful of individuals’ needs. I would recommend Pacific Travel to others and I would use them again.
Thanks again for a great trip.”
Everything was seamless, ten minutes after leaving the cruise on Milford Sound we were up in an aircraft over the fiord. Similarly half an hour after arriving in Franz Josef we were up on top of the glacier.
I cannot thank you enough. “
Everything went smoothly and we had a fantastic time. We loved New Zealand and just wish it was closer so we could visit frequently, admittedly we were fortunate with the weather.
Many thanks again.
The journey on the Trans-Alpine express was the real highlight of the journey. I can also recommend Quest apartment accommodation in Christchurch.
Overall, the trip was a great success and I want to thank you for organizing it for us. Back in Ireland now with lots of good memories. Many thanks.”
We had a wonderful trip! It was very well organized, great informative bus drivers, very nice accommodations and a very good value. You have a beautiful country, and all we saw makes me want to come back and take in more.
Thanks for all of your help in getting us booked at a late date.
Our Best to You and Pacific Travel.
We have just got back from nearly 3 weeks away – just over 2 of which were in New Zealand.
We had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed the trip that we did with you – the scenery was breathtaking and dramatic and both my husband, Mark and I both said that if we had to choose we preferred the south island.
The Great Sights team were superb – the right level of commentary – but we did have a favourite. We think the driver was called Geoff we think (he was an ex geography teacher and his knowledge of the terrain shone through) – he drove us on 16th Jan from Christchurch -Mount Cook – Queenstown. So massive thumbs up to him but the other two drivers were also good although less knowledgeable compared to Geoff.
We would definitely recommend this tour to people – we covered a lot of ground in a few days and really felt that we had been given a really good tour in terms of the locations we went to, the stops on the way, the commentary en route and the safety aspect of being driven in the coach (all were excellent drivers and we felt very safe).
I have sent you a link to some photos in a file I created for you in Google photos – I haven’t yet labelled where they all are yet but I’m sure you can see based on the tour that we did.
Thank you again for all you help. Wish we were there!! 🙂
