4 Day Queenstown & Fiordland Tour
Travel from Christchurch to New Zealand's highest mountain, Mount Cook, then on to Queenstown. Day 2 is a full day excursion to the world famous Fiordland National Park and enjoy a one and a half hour cruise of Milford Sound. Day 3 - a full day at your leisure in New Zealand's premier holiday resort, Queenstown.

Day 1 Christchurch - Mount Cook - Queenstown
Travel south with Greatsights and then west across the Canterbury Plains to the foothills of the Southern Alps. At Lake Tekapo, the first of two glacial lakes we will see today, time is available to photograph the beautiful Church of the Good Shepherd overlooking the lake. After lunch (not included) at Mount Cook, take one of the many alpine walks in the area or to visit the Sir Edmund Hillary Centre.

Day 2 Full Day Excursion to Milford Sound
A coach journey to one of the world's greatest natural wonders- the Fiordland National Park - a world heritage area. A vast remote wilderness with snow capped mountains, glacial lakes and valleys, fiords, waterfalls and dense forests. Travel to Te Anau and on to the forested Eglinton Valley, through the Homer Tunnel and out into breath-taking Milford Sound. Enjoy a one and a half hour cruise of Milford Sound viewing the spectacular waterfalls and famous Mitre Peak.

Day 4 Queenstown - Christchurch
Today depart Queenstown on the Newmans service via the stone fruit growing area of Cromwell, the town of Omarama famous for its gliding, Tekapo and the rural towns of Fairlie, Geraldine and Methven through to Christchurch where you arrive approx. 4.30pm.
