Day 1: Wellington - Taupo
Board your Newmans coach for your journey north out of the capital city, along the Kapiti Coast and over the Manawatu Plain to Palmerston North before skirting the volcanic plateau to Taupo. Arrive at Taupo by 1.50pm.
The afternoon is free at leisure.
Accommodation: Copthorne Hotel, Bella Vista Motel or similar.
Board your Newmans coach for your journey north out of the capital city, along the Kapiti Coast and over the Manawatu Plain to Palmerston North before skirting the volcanic plateau to Taupo. Arrive at Taupo by 1.50pm.

Day 2: Taupo - Rotorua
This morning is free for optional sightseeing (own expense). We suggest a visit to the Huka Falls or maybe some early morning lake fishing. Taupo is internationally recognised for its prized trophy-sized trout. In the afternoon depart Taupo by Newmans Coachlines for your journey to Rotorua. This evening you will be entertained by Mitai Tours with their New Zealand award- winning Maori hangi and concert.
Accommodation: Heritage Hotel, Accolade Motel or similar.
This morning is free for optional sightseeing (own expense). We suggest a visit to the Huka Falls or maybe some early morning lake fishing. Day 3: Waitomo Caves Day Tour
Depart Rotorua with Newmans Coach Lines travelling north to the Waitomo Caves. Visit the glow-worm grotto for a spectacular display of tiny lights emitted by these unique life forms deep in the cave grotto. Return to Rotorua with Gteat Sights by 4.30pm. This evening we suggest you have a relaxing swim in the hot mineral waters of the Polynesian Spa (own expense).

Depart Rotorua with Newmans Coach Lines travelling north to the Waitomo Caves.
