As this is an 'independent' styled tour, you can depart whatever day you like! (subject to availability)

What is an independent tour?
 Independent tours are not escorted group tours - they are for independent travellers. What this means is that it is not the same group of people travelling on their own coach with a tour leader/escort looking after you. You are travelling independently. However, you are picked up and dropped off at your accommodation each morning and evening and interesting commentary is provided on many sectors.

Cancellation policy

If after your booking has been confirmed you wish to cancel, the following cancellation fees will apply:

  • For cancellations up to 7 days prior to travel – loss of deposit.
  • For cancellations 7 days – 48 hours prior to travel – 50% of total fare will apply.
  • For cancellations within 48 hours prior to travel – 100% of total fare will apply.

All tours may be amended provided these arrangements are made more than 15 days prior to departure. Amendments will incur a fee of NZ$50.00 per file change. Amendments within 15 days of departure will also incur additional fees in accordance with the policies of our suppliers.

Conditions of travel:

Pacific Travel reserves the right to alter fares, amend itineraries, book alternative accommodation or to cancel tours. Pacific Travel shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to luggage or personal effects and/or damage resulting in death or personal injury which might arise whilst on tour with Pacific Travel or its nominated suppliers.

Our staff will receive your booking request, arrange your booking, and contact you to confirm the booking and arrange payment. If your requested Tour is not available on that date staff will contact you to discuss alternatives.

A credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) is then required to secure the booking. This can be provided using our secure online web form, or by providing the details over the phone.
