Day 1 Christchurch - Kaikoura
Board the world renowned Coastal Pacific train this morning bound for Kaikoura. Journey alongside the Pacific Ocean coastline where the sea meets the bush-clad Kaikoura mountain range. Upon arrival enjoy a 3 hour cruise with Kaikoura Whale Watch to marvel at the giant Sperm Whale and Dusky Dolphins. Kaikoura Whale Watch has won many international awards for tourism excellence and marine conservation.

Day 2 Kaikoura - Blenheim
This morning travel with InterCity Coachlines north to Blenheim. There is time to store your luggage at your accommodation before joining a Highlights Wine Tour at 1pm. Your afternoon will be organised at your pace with your choice of wineries to visit. There is no stop for lunch on this tour, but cafe food is available at a couple of locations. Finishing at the Makana Boutique Chocolate Factory, returning you to your accommodation approx. 5pm.
This morning travel with InterCity Coachlines north to Blenheim. There is time to store your luggage at your accommodation before joining a Highlights Wine Tour at 1pm. This morning join InterCity Coachlines for a memorable journey through the Buller Gorge, Westport and the beautiful Paparoa National Park to Greymouth arriving at 1.15pm. Upon arrival join the TranzAlpine Train bound for Christchurch via the lush rain forest of Arthur's Pass National Park. Travel over viaducts, through tunnels and cross the Canterbury Plains reaching the Garden City of Christchurch approximately 6.05pm.
