Day 1 Christchurch - Mount Cook - Queenstown
Travel south with GreatSights following the foothills of the Southern Alps to Mount Cook Village via Lakes Tekapo and Pukaki.  Lunch (own expense) is at Mount Cook Village, time is available to walk one of the many short alpine walks in the area or to visit the Sir Edmund Hillary Centre.  Continue onto Queenstown travelling via the Lindis Pass and the Kawarau Gorge.  Arrive Queenstown 6.30pm. 

Day 2 Queenstown - Milford - Te Anau
A full day tour with Real Journeys to World Heritage Listed, Fiordland National Park, a truly spectacular region of snow capped mountains, glacier lakes, fiords, waterfalls and dense forest. Enjoy a one and a half hour cruise of Milford Sound. Arrive into Te Anau approx. 5.30pm.

At 7.00pm you will travel by boat across Lake Te Anau to Cavern House on the Western Shores. On arrival join your nature guide for your Te Anau Glowworm Caves experience both above and below ground.

Day 3 Te Anau - Doubtful Sound - Queenstown
Depart Te Anau at 8.30am and travel by coach through to Manapouri where you board a vessel and cruise across Lake Manapouri to West Arm where you reboard another coach that takes you across Wilmot Pass and down into Deep Cove. Here you board a Real Journeys Catamaran for a 3 hour cruise of beautiful Doubtful Sound. On board there is excellent viewing of waterfalls, rainforest and mountains. Visitors then retrace their journey back to Te Anau then on to Queenstown where you will arrive at approx. 7.30pm

Day 4 Free Day in Queenstown
A full day at leisure for you to enjoy this exciting year round resort town. We have included a Skyline Gondola ride in your tour.

Day 5 Queenstown - Christchurch
Today depart Queenstown on the Newmans service through to Christchurch where you arrive at 4.10pm.
